Western Mediterranean

The Western Mediterranean encompasses a large cruising ground and and several countries. Sophisticated harbors or unspoiled quiet coastlines, history and culture, superb cuisine, first class golf courses: we will guide you through the many choice that this cruising area offers.

SPAIN AND THE BALEARICS: varied coastlines and lively harbors. Sun, culture, music and fantastic food make Spain and the Balearics a very popular vacation area. (See "Sample Itinerary").

THE SOUTH OF FRANCE AND MONTECARLO: Sophisticated ports of call. This area is playground of the world wealthiest people and cruising ground to the most magnificent yachts. It also offers many first class golf courses within just minutes away of the sea.

ITALIAN RIVIERA, ELBA, CORSICA AND SARDINIA: From the busy marinas, harbors and impressive night life of San Remo, to the physically dramatic coastlines of West Corsica and of Sardinia with their quiet, undeveloped anchorages and deserted beaches, this area is unique in its diversity. EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN - GREECE AND TURKEY
(Best cruising time: May through October)

Eastern Mediterranean

The islands of sun and Gods. The Western Mediterranean is teaming with history and culture in both the Aegean Seas and the Ionian Sea. You have many cruising grounds to choose from in the Greek Islands and The Turkish Coastline.

GREECE: Explore and contemplate the ancient ruins and history of these many islands (See "Samples Itinerary"):

THE SARONIC GULF AND PELOPONNESE are situated southwest of Athens. This a popular sailing area due to the close proximity of the islands and shorter sailing time. Long sandy beaches, and an infinite variety of culture and people.

THE CYCLADES are further east of Athens. These islands offer stunning scenic shores, unspoiled beaches, fabulous night life, and excellent cuisine.

THE DODECANESE are located southeast from the mainland. Here you can finish your sail on the island of Rhodes or in Turkey. Explore the ruins of past civilizations and the mix of colorful local customs.

THE IONIAN ISLANDS are situated off the West Coast of Greece. Here you will find a blend of cultures and people from all over Europe.

THE SPORADES are located northeast of Athens. Beautiful shorelines frame green, pine-scented hills.

TURKEY: This cruising area is the heart of a region steeped in history. The Turks are hospitable and welcoming. These coastlines and surrounding islands are unspoiled by tourism and many anchorages you will visit are accessible only by boat. Your trips ashore can take you through the market bazaar which holds a wealth of treasures, or to fascinating archeological sites and ruins from many ancient civilizations. The best cruising itinerary is from Izmir southwards and from Marmaris eastwards as far as Alanya (See "Sample Itinerary").
