DAY 2: A 3-hour sail brings you to the tiny island of Capraia in the Tuscan Islands, your first port in Italy. Visit the fortified town and savor an espresso. DAY 3: Sail to Portoferraio on Elba. Napoleon was exiled here in 1814. His bronze death mask can be seen in the village church, where Masses are said regularly for his soul. Climb to the Piazza Napoleone for sweeping views of the wide bay. Visit the twin forts and Napoleon's official residence, where his library has been preserved. DAY 4: A 2-hour sail brings you to Porto Azzurro, a picturesque fishing village and popular resort. DAY 5: Just an hour's sail from Porto Azzurro is Marina di Campo, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Med. Choose one of the fine Italian restaurants for dinner and people watching.
